Mega Evolutions are legal in Regulation M-A. This is a defining feature of the format and a major differentiator from standard Regulation series. You can equip any legal Mega Stone in the Team Builder and use Mega Evolution forms in tournament teams you submit.
Legal Pokémon pool
The eligible Pokémon come from the Paldea Regional Dex, which includes Pokémon from all generations that are accessible in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This is not a contiguous National Dex range — it’s a specific curated list that spans Generations 1 through 9, plus Hisuian forms, all of which have a presence in Paldea. The pool includes Pokémon such as Charizard, Dragonite, Tyranitar, Garchomp, Lucario, Incineroar, Dragapult, and a full roster of Paldean Pokémon like Meowscarada, Garganacl, and Kingambit.Mega Evolutions
